bolda is in a quiet village by the sea in Bukchon-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si. It is about 40 minutes by car from Jeju Airport and 8 minutes from Hamdeok Beach. There are few restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance, so we recommend a rental car or taxi. Parking is available for at least 2 cars.

Take Bus 101 from Gate 1 at Jeju Airport, transfer to Bus 201, and get off at Bukchon-ri (북촌리). Follow the walking directions in your map app to bolda. Check the transfer stop, timetables and airport boarding location in your map app on the day you travel. With heavy luggage or a late arrival, we recommend a taxi.

- The approach to bolda follows village roads and the coastal road. Please drive slowly and carefully.

Grocery shopping
The nearest supermarket and convenience store are in Hamdeok, about 5 minutes by car. There are few shops within walking distance, so we recommend picking up snacks and breakfast before you arrive. Seasonings (oil, salt, sauces) are not provided.

Walking in the village
The sea is right in front of the house. Enjoy a morning walk along the coastal path as the tide comes and goes, or head to the shore to watch the sunset. You can also walk from Hamdeok Beach to Bukchon along Jeju Olle Trail Route 19.

bolda suits guests who want to explore eastern Jeju—Hamdeok, Gimnyeong and Woljeongri beaches, Manjanggul, Bijarim Forest and Seongsan Ilchulbong—and rest in a quiet village rather than a busy tourist area. Western destinations such as Aewol and Hyeopjae are farther away, so allow for travel time if much of your itinerary is in western Jeju.
